Fleas
Fleas infestation is one of the most common health problems affecting dogs. Fleas are tiny external parasites that live off by sucking the blood off your pets. Fleas don't just make your dog itchy and uncomfortable, but can also potentially introduce infections to the wounds caused by the biting. Intestinal Infections
Worm is also another problem commonly seen affecting dogs. It can cause a great deal of discomfort and in some extreme cases, it can also lead to death. Worm infections are usually introduced through consumption of raw meat containing the worm cyst. Therefore, it is important that you should never feed raw or uncooked meat as it can potentially harbor parasites. Another possible way of introduction is through lice or fleas, which harbor tapeworm larvae. Therefore keep in mind that these parasites are all inter-related and thus one problem leads to another.

Skin Problems
Sometimes you may notice your dog is losing hair or going bald at certain spots, then it’s possible that you may be dealing skin problems. If the hair is thinning, then the only cause for it is hormonal deficiency or imbalance and if the balding occurs in patches, then most likely it is due to bacterial or ringworm infections. Generally skin problems may not be as troublesome as in fleas or parasites infections, but caution and early treatment is always important to tackle this as soon as you notice the problem start developing.

To avoid major dog heath problem, make sure that your pet has all of their vaccinations up to date and above all proper hygiene must always be the top priority.
